Cannon Hill State School

Last month we wrote a post about the Cannon Hill State School Fete that’s being held on the 10th September. The school’s fete committee have been seeking various help from the community to make it a success and I touched base again with Tanya Zenoni, the Fete Convenor, to get an update on how it’s all going.

Tanya said they are still seeking businesses who may be able to help us with monetary donations or prizes suitable for the auction such as electrical goods. The school is also still sourcing marquees to use on the day.

“We had a lot of positive feedback from businesses in the community who have helped us out,” Tanya said.

Since our last post more local businesses who have got on board include Your Pick Flowers, Cut the Cake, Pizza Capers Cannon Hill and Peerless Dry Cleaners Cannon Hill. The other local businesses are listed in our previous post about the fete.

Pre-sale ride bracelets (which also include the animal farm) are now on sale. They can be purchased from the school for $25 for one child, $45 for two children or $65 three or more children (all siblings from same family). Payments can be made for these in adavance via cheque, money order or cash. To purchase contact the Cannon Hill State School office via cannonhill@eq.edu.au, place your order and the P&C will be in contact with you. Tickets can still be purchased on the day but not at this discounted amount.

Hosi Kozi Clothing

Hosi Kozi Clothing are one of the local businesses supporting the fete

Raffle prizes include a wheelbarrow of booze and $50 meat trays. There is a cent auction which includes items such as 12month membership at Goodlife Health & Fitness valued at $900, HosiKozi Clothing vouchers valued at $260.00, Dark Magik Tattoo Voucher valued at $200 and much more. Read about the other fete attractions.

If you’re able to help Cannon Hill State School with their fete contact tanyazenoni@hotmail.com. It’s a great way to connect your oganisation more closely with the local community. We will provide another update closer to the day.
