Letter to the Editor: theft in Carindale

I wanted to write to you to let you know that my number plates were stolen from my car parked in my driveway – a street off Cadogan Street, between 7pm Thursday and 7am Friday of this week. Quite an intrusion and not very happy about it, but I hear it’s quite common. There was also a theft and an attempted theft of 2 cars a couple of streets away from me a few weeks ago – may be unrelated, but still worth keeping in mind. My car was parked in a not very well light area whereas the other cars in the street remained untouched and were parked under streetlights. Just wanted to let people know and hope that everyone can keep and eye out for each other. Thanks.
