There will be a showcase of local businesses at the next Carindale & Eastern Suburbs Community Forum and now is the time to secure a showcase spot.
At Wednesday night’s forum, Glenn Millar, the forum’s founder, pointed to the closure of Fancee Fruit when talking about supporting local business.
“We’re inviting local businesses to come along and show us what they sell and where, so that we can learn about them and support them,” Glenn said.
It will be ‘first in, best dressed’ as to who will be showcased, but we’re currently discussing the prospect of doing more of these business showcase evenings.
While the table/stand space is being provided for FREE, we encourage the exhibiting businesses to provide some small samples/giveaways or some sort of a door prize.
The forum is keen for locals to support local business and show its community spirit.
We’ll also be promoting the participating businesses on Carindale Connect including in our enewsletter.
The Carindale & Eastern Suburbs Community Forum & business showcase is being held on Wednesday August 29th at 7pm at Belmont State Primary School.
Book space for your business!
If you’re interested in having your business on display at the forum you can contact Carindale Connect or Glenn Millar at glenn.millar@remax.com.au / 0414 991 474.
I’ve been really enjoying these community-minded forums and Glenn and I are looking forward to seeing which businesses get involved in this new initiative.
