Bring a book to the Green Heart Fair this Sunday 28th October at Carindale Recreation Reserve.

You will be able to swap it with ANY book on the Carindale Connect stall!

Thanks to the great locals who have been providing books to our Book Swap. Various locals have generously been providing some fantastic and high quality books – adult books, kids books, cookbooks, fiction and non-fiction.

Thanks goes to: Sandy Mutton of Belmont Bowls Club (pictured top left), Mel Kettle of Mel Kettle Consulting (pictured bottom left), Dean Bleasdale of Green Dean (pictured above right), Janelle Bray of Janelle Bray Wellness Clinic (pictured bottom right), The Jamieson family of Carindale, Debbie Burnett of Reasonable Management Action Tutoring (pictured right), Michelle Coglan of Special FX Hair Studio, Teresa of Wise Realty, the Caldwell family of Carindale, the Haydon family of Carindale, Kathy Foster, Liz Duguid, Cathy & Mick Totidis, Kay-Lynn of L’Miao Bakery and others who donated books to build up this great collection.

The aim of our book swap is to encourage re-use, community & knowledge sharing. If you no longer need a book, why keep it on your shelf when someone else can now get good use out of it?

There are some wonderful books in this swap  Рfor young and old.

While this is a book swap, we know that many people will come to the Green Heart Fair without a book. For this reason, we will also sell some of the books. They will be around $5 each and proceeds from this book swap will go to Team Gabby which is about helping a little girl in Carindale with a severe disability.

The Green Heart Fair is on Sunday 28th October 2012 from 9am to 2pm at Carindale Recreation Reserve.
