Never played soccer before but would like to give it a go?

The “Bellas” women’s social soccer group are wanting to make their last game for the year extra fun.

They are inviting all local women to come and join them in Carina on Tuesday 18th at 6.30pm. If you’ve never played soccer before, that’s even better! The only prerequisites are that you must be FEMALE and aged between 18-100!

It’s just about fun – so ask your girlfriends, sister, mother or grandmother!

The Bellas is a social group of women who play soccer for fun, friendship and fitness. For many of them, the Bellas is the first time they have played soccer before. All levels of fitness/skill are welcome so don’t worry if you’ve never kicked a soccer ball before. And if you have played soccer before, it’s a chance to get back into this wonderful sport!

Where: 150 Fursden Rd, Carina (AC Carina field)
When: Tuesday 18th December, 6.30pm (for 6.45pm start)
Contact: Ilona on or rsvp via the Facebook event or simply turn-up!
: You don’t have to have soccer boots, sneakers are fine.
Shin-pads are compulsory, so let the Bellas know if you need a pair and we may have spares (give us a couple of days notice), otherwise you can pick them up fairly cheaply. Bring a bottle of water with you too.

If you discover that you really like soccer with the Bellas, you may like to become a Bella in 2013. But in the meantime enjoy a bit of festive soccer fun.
