Boxing sponsorship - Jarrett OwenJarrett “Juarez” Owen, age 28, is a local professional boxer competing in the featherweight division.

Although he is competitive at featherweight (57.2kg), Jarrett says it’s in his best interest to compete at a lighter weight as he’s giving away quite a few kilograms to his opponents.

“If I’m to further my career and advance in the rankings I need to be competing at 55kg or less,” Jarrett says.

“Unfortunately there aren’t many boxers at my weight and therefore opponents need to be flown in from around Australia and even overseas – this of course requires money.”

Now is a “ground floor” opportunity to jump on board as a sponsor.  If you would like him as an ambassador for your company, Jarrett will promote your brand in a positive light – because he trains hard, fights fair and in an exciting fashion!

Living locally, he trains people in ‘punch fit’, ‘kick fit’ and ‘cage fit’ classes as well as one-on-one boxing and personal training sessions at Granite PT in Coorparoo.

Jarrett has competed in a number of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) shows around Australia,  winning the Allegiance MMA Bantamweight belt in 2011. He has a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and competes in BJJ, Muay Thai in addition to boxing matches.
