Laura Fraser Hardy has been endorsed as Labor’s candidate for the seat of Bonner in the next Federal Election.
This is Fraser Hardy’s second challenge in a row for the seat which is currently held by the Liberal Party’s Ross Vasta.
“I believe that the big issues and concerns for Bonner residents are around the cost of living, health and education,” Ms Fraser Hardy says.
“Bonner residents are concerned about the proposed increases to the costs of obtaining a university degree and don’t want their visits to the GP to cost more than what they do now. Labor will continue to fight to ensure that families in Bonner receive a fair go.”
She says that her team will build on the work that they have done across Bonner during the last Federal Election campaign and since.
“I intend to continue to be an active and local voice on issues as they arise and will be out there speaking to as many Bonner residents as possible about the continued impact of a Tony Abbott government on them and their families.”
Ms Fraser Hardy is a lawyer and a resident of Manly West.
I think she would be an excellent representative for QLD in the 2020 National Policy Forum. The rights of all women to have University education is vitally important to QLD’s future
