We’ve had a few people contact us about getting locals together on the issue of cars racing around the neighbourhood late at night etc. and what can be done about the problem.

car hooning is a problem in the carindale area at the moment along with speeding.i would like to hear from other people who who have a similar problem so that something can be done about it.please feel free to submit a comment about this problem so that we can get on top of this.

Car hooning is a major problem we are woken up late at night. there is also a lot of children playing on our roads and cars going below the speed limit have to be very carefull to advoid them. parents need to be aware that their children are in danger. I think slowing down and supervising is the key.

I think this is a real issue for safety in our community and would like ideas as to what we can do about it. Has anyone contacted the local police to see if they would patrol our area? I know that last year a young man killed himself on Greendale Way by speeding. If I am outside and I hear a car coming down my street, I step out to the pavement and wave them to slow down, sometimes it works. I wish I could do more!

yes amanda i have contacted the police on many occasions about the constant speeding and hooning.if you would like more information about what is going on in regard to this issue please contact carindale connect for my details .i have been campaigning on this issue for sometime.it is about time people in this community did something more about this problem
