Nataleen Kilburn
Nataleen Kilburn works as a full-time secondary school teacher and Head of Geography Department. She has a keen interest in the community and politics. Nat holds a Bachelor Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Post Grad degree in Education. She was a Town Planner before moving into teaching. Originally from Tully in North Queensland, her great grandparents and grandparents were Italian migrants employed in the cane fields. She has contributed a chapter to a book about the Italian pioneers of North Queensland, "Hearts Full of Hope" (2007), stories of the lives of Italian pioneers in the Tully district. Nat now lives in Carindale with her husband Steve Kilburn.
