There is a great deal of misinformation in relation to flying foxes in our community.

In TheConversation.edu.au:
Now we have pestilence, in the form of Hendra virus. Calls for bat culls have ensued, but killing or relocating bats could make things worse for everyone.
We recommend reading the full article “Culling bats isn’t the way to control Hendra virus” (September 12).
