Last Wednesday the Carindale Community Forum showcased the activities of some local community groups and had a chat about local history.
Ian Bruning of the Camp Hill – Carindale Lions Club had a chat to us about the local Lions.
Supporting Rosies food van and helping Lions Medical Research are some of the ways the Lions Club benefits the community.
“We’re also helping people caught between a rock and a hard place,” Ian said.
The club helped someone who had to go to Sydney for an operation by paying for their petrol to get there. Continue reading »
