Minnippi Parklands

Minnippi Parklands, Brisbane

Hey high school students, there’s plenty of great spots around Carindale, Carina, Mount Gravatt etc where you could get inspiration for this Brisbane photography challenge. But you’ll need to hurry as you have to submit the printed copy of your photo by June 3.

The Green Eyed View competition challenges high school students to capture a unique perspective of a natural wonder of Brisbane City. Finalists will be exhibited at the Bleeding Heart Gallery between June 22-27.

You could also get some inspiration via the Mount Gravatt Environment Group and the Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (B4C).

This area got a lot of media attention a few years ago in relation to controversial developments and the wildlife here. Read the rest of this entry »
