Minnippi Parklands, Brisbane
Hey high school students, there’s plenty of great spots around Carindale, Carina, Mount Gravatt etc where you could get inspiration for this Brisbane photography challenge. But you’ll need to hurry as you have to submit the printed copy of your photo by June 3.
The Green Eyed View competition challenges high school students to capture a unique perspective of a natural wonder of Brisbane City. I double checked with them that the competition included the the Carindale region. It can be a micro view, a macro view or from a perspective that the average natural areas photographer has not yet discovered. Finalists will be exhibited at the Bleeding Heart Gallery between June 22-27.
I reckon there’s some great nature photo opportunities to showcase sustainability and the beauty of Brisbane’s natural landscapes in areas such as Minnippi Parklands and Belmont Bushland Reserve. You could also get some inspiration via the Mount Gravatt Environment Group and the Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (B4C).
