I want to be part of building a safer community in the context of community-building in general. I don’t, however, want to go to meetings to discuss minutes of previous meetings or who should be treasurer etc. This is irrelevant to me and frustrating. However, there are plans in motion to revitalise Neighbourhood Watch.
The Office of Councillor Ryan Murphy was broken into and set on fire by a blazing tyre early this morning. A police dog and its handler were also injured.

A 41-year-old Kippa Ring man is due to appear in court today charged with attempted arson, serious assault police and injuring a police dog following an overnight fire at a Cannon Hill business.
Police are currently investigating recent armed robberies in the region.
