Our neighbours in Naretha Street had some items, including their wallet, cards etc taken from their house while they were home. Their dog was even in the house.

So be extra cautious.

We’ve started a ‘neighbourhood watch’ category on this blog and welcome you to talk about your experiences with crime in the area or anything else related to that topic. You can either respond to this post or email us at info@carindaleconnect.com.au and we’ll post it to the blog. If you want it posted to the blog, please state that in your email and tell us if you want your name published with it or not.

Hopefully we can make a difference in keeping the area safe from creepy burglars and the like.

I’ve found, in comparison to every other place I’ve lived (and that’s quite a few suburbs in Brisbane and interstate), Carindale is the one I’ve felt most safe in.

  1. Thanks for that info Beau. Just so we don’t get into legal trouble, we’ve had to remove the number plate number you put in your comment. However, this is really serious and worrying. Have you passed on this info (and the number plate number) to local police?

  2. hi

I live on St Andrews Cr Carindale and on Monday Night around 6pm a car [number plate removed] was parked outside of a house in Pinehirst Pl,. He walked up and down Pinehirst then reversed 50m down Pinehirst onto St Andrews Cr with his lights off then stopped on Troon Pl walked up and down the street. and drove off still with his lights off. He then did the same Carnoustie Pl. The police may want to be given the rego as the way the gent was acting, checking houses out and driving with his lights of seemingly to not bring attention was very, very suspect. If someone in these streets get burgled it may be something connected.

    Thank You
