Swimmers from the Carina Leagues CJ’s Swim Club are off to Adelaide on the 17th of April to compete in the 2011 Age National Championships that run from Monday 18th – Saturday 23rd April 2011.

“This is a fantastic result to have 5 of our senior swimmers qualify for nationals, with an outstanding effort from Jack to come back from illness to qualify for the 100m Backstroke” said Head Coach, Mark Davies.

They will be competing in individual and relay events.

The swimming club, based at Clem Jones Centre in Carina, has been able to support their athletes with a $500 sponsorship each.

“Thanks to very generous support from the Carina Leagues Club, we are able to offer our athletes that little bit more and they can focus on doing their best and having a great time at Nationals,” Mark said.

One Response to “Young Locals off to Swimming Nationals”

  1. Swimming is really fun and good exercise; it’s a good to encourage our kids in swimming while they are still young. Anyway, congratulation to the young swimmers and I hope they achieve their dreams and continue working hard with their training; they’re the pride of their country.
