Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery of a service station in Holland Park last night.

Initial investigations indicate a man entered the Logan Road store just after 8.30 armed with a knife.

He threatened the employee and demanded cash but when the attendant refused he fled the store empty handed.

He is described as between 20 and 25-years-old, about 180cm tall with a proportionate build. He was wearing a hooded jumper and tracksuit pants.
