Detectives from the Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch have today charged two people following investigations into recent robbery offences during June.

Operation Kilo Hilt was commenced to investigate incidents in Sunnybank, Macgregor and Greenslopes in which it will be alleged six people were robbed.

Today detectives executed search warrants in Boronia Heights with two people arrested.

A 17-year-old Boronia Heights man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery in company and two counts of robbery in company. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

A 16-year-old youth, also from Boronia Heights, has been charged with two counts of robbery with violence in company, two counts of receiving tainted property, one count of burglary, and a drug offence. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

Investigations are continuing.
