A local has alerted us to an attempted break-in of their house in Briarwood Street, Carindale on Saturday night.

Upon returning home from an evening out, the resident approached the man who was trying to access the house through a small window. The suspect then fled on foot.

It was too dark to determine the age of the suspect.
