Police are wishing want to speak with the driver of a black sedan following a report of suspicious activity in Mansfield yesterday morning.
At about 8.20am the car approached a 16-year-old girl in a blue school uniform at a bus stop on the corner of Luprena and Amoria streets at Mansfield.
The driver of the vehicle requested the girl get into his car, when she refused he followed her in the car until she was picked up by a passing relative.
The car is described as a sedan, matte black in colour, possibly with a home paint job, the bumper bars and wheels are also painted matte black. The car is a ‘box’ shaped sedan, possibly an early 90s shape.
The driver is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 35 to 45 years old, with olive complexion, long scruffy black hair and average build. At the time of the incident he was unshaven with stubble around his face and was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt.
The girl was not physically injured during the incident.
