Comfit of man being sought re attempted burglary in Carina

The Queensland Police report that in the past 10 days there has been an increase in burglary offences in the Carina police division. This division includes Carindale and Camp HIll.  Most of the offences occurred during the day.

The offenders used force to enter homes and steal items such as electronics, jewellery and cash.

A neighbour was able to disturb two men in a red vehicle who then left.

A man was also disturbed trying to enter a home in Aspen Street, Carindale.  See comfit of the man here.

Residents in Norman Park also need to be vigilant. Police report that at 5.30pm Thursday afternoon, a resident of Waite Street, Norman Park was on her back deck when she heard loud banging sounds coming from her neighbour’s house.  The resident went to the front of her neighbour’s house to investigate and saw a man standing in the front yard.  The man moved towards the side of the house and met up with a woman who was at the side door.  They then quickly left the area.  When police got there shortly after they found there had been an attempt to kick the side door open.

Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a woman of aboriginal appearance with a solid build and approximately 175cm tall, and a man with grey hair, 175cm tall and with a proportionate build.
